You are doing an excellent job of teaching the world about Ethiopia (its problems, potentials in diverse areas, the people and their culture, etc), while at all times doing the job you that brought you there. I am also happy to note your family is adjusting comfortably to liveing in the ‘capital’ of Africa. And the experience may encourage your young dauther to become a future US diplomat too!.

May I suggest you visit as many other African countries as you could, from your base in Ethiopia?

I do hope to see more of the continent while we are here. So far we have only visited South Africa but I hope to at least get to Rwanda, Kenya, Mozambique, Zanzibar, Morocco, and Egypt before we leave Africa.
